Market Entry & Expansion

New market.
Clear path.

Whether you are bringing your business into the GCC or taking it into a neighbouring market, Gardio connects the commercial, financial and technology steps so the new operation is set up to perform from the start.

Two Paths

Coming into the region, or growing within it.

The questions are different for an international company arriving in the GCC and for a regional business opening in its next market. We work with both.

For international companies

Entering the GCC

A practical route from first assessment to a working local operation.

  • Market and feasibility assessment
  • Choice of market and entity structure, with licensed advisers
  • Set-up coordination with licensed local partners
  • Banking readiness, finance function and reporting from day one
  • ERP, systems and processes for the new entity
  • Local suppliers, sourcing and distribution through Gardio Trading
For regional businesses

Expanding within the region

Taking what works in one GCC market into the next, without stretching the business too far.

  • Expansion readiness and feasibility
  • Cash and funding plan for the ramp-up period
  • Group structure and consolidated reporting
  • Systems that handle several entities, currencies and languages
  • Processes that work without the owner in the room
  • Fractional CFO for the growing group

How It Works

From first question to a working operation.

Every market entry or expansion follows the same six stages, built on the One Gardio Method.

  1. Assess

Is the market right, and is the business ready? Demand, competition, costs and a realistic view of the opportunity.

  2. Plan

The business case, the cash needed through the ramp-up, and the structure that fits.

  3. Set up

Coordinating licensing, entity set-up and banking with licensed partners in the target market.

  4. Build

The finance function, controls, reporting and systems the new operation needs on day one.

  5. Launch

Opening with clear processes, trained people, suppliers in place and numbers you can trust.

  6. Review

Tracking results against the plan, and adjusting early while there is still time.

Clear Roles

One partner to coordinate. Licensed specialists where the law requires them.

Company formation, legal advice, immigration, audit and tax filings are regulated in every GCC market. We coordinate them through appropriately licensed partners and take care of the business side ourselves.

  • Feasibility, planning and the business case
  • Finance function, reporting and Fractional CFO
  • ERP, systems, automation and AI
  • Sourcing, supply and distribution

Questions

Common questions.

Which markets do you cover?
Our focus markets are Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Oman. We also work remotely with clients elsewhere in the GCC, the Middle East and internationally. See our markets.
Where is Gardio based?
Gardio is headquartered in Doha, Qatar. We work with clients across the region remotely, and travel to meet clients when the engagement needs it.
Can you set up our company in a GCC country?
Company formation is a licensed activity in each market. We coordinate it with licensed local partners and take care of the business side ourselves: feasibility, the plan, the finance function, systems and the practical steps to get operating.
We already operate in one GCC country. Can you help us expand to another?
Yes. This is one of the most common situations we see. We start with expansion readiness: whether the current business is profitable unit by unit, whether cash can fund the ramp-up, and whether the operation can run without the owner in the room.
How do cross-border engagements work in practice?
Most work happens through regular video meetings, shared reporting and secure document exchange, with on-site visits at key moments such as launch, system go-live or board meetings.
